    Q: How long does it take for the carport, or building to be assembled?

    A: Most units are assembled in less than a day. In some cases, it may take two days depending upon the size of the building.




    Q: Where is the best location for my steel carport, metal garage, storage building or outdoor storage shed?

    A: The key to successful installation on any of our products it it make sure that our product is installed on a level, flat, square surface. In order to provide you with affordable products and quick installation, site preparation, as well as building permits, are the responsibility of the customer.




    Q: How long before you contact me to schedule for delivery?

    A: You will be contacted approximately a week prior to delivery and installation for scheduling purposes.




    Q: What types of anchors do you have?

    A:

    3 foot temporary pin anchors for ground and clay or asphalt installation (not responsible if you choose pin anchors only)
    Double helix mobile home anchors for ground and clay installation only (extra cost)






    Q: What is the pitch in the center of the carport?

    A: Pitch will vary depending upon the width of your carport. It can be from 2-1/2' to 4'.




    Q: Can you add to a carport after it is already installed?

    A:

    Yes. There will be an extra service charge. The original carport must be an American Steel Carport. In order to add walk-in or overhead or roll-up doors, the original carport must be 6 foot or taller.






    Q: When should I use the extra 4 foot braces?

    A:

    When the leg height is 8 foot or taller and on all 22 and 24 foot wide steel carports.






    Q: How much adjustment do you have to level your carport?

    A:

    About 3 to 4 inch.






    Q: What is the highest leg height I can get?

    A: Twelve foot. Please call if you require larger than 12 ft legs for your steel carport.




    Q: What are the dimensions of the carport outside to outside?

    A:

    Width x Length x Height (ex. 18 x 21 x 5)
    Length dimension is measured by the roof metal with a 6" overhang on each end. Therefore, the bottom base rail is one foot shorter than the roof. Width is measured from outside base rail to the other outside base rail.






    Q: What size do I need to make my cement slab for the floor?

    A:

    You should pour your concrete slab 3/4" wider and 1' shorter in length.






    Q: How long will it take to get my metal carport delivered after I place an order?

    A: Delivery usually takes 2-4 weeks upon the date the order is received.
